About the School
Anandam is a nursery and kindergarten institution. It began its inaugural session in January 1984 with a view to imparting education in sylvan surrounding, more or less on the line followed in “Santiniketan” to tiny tots of Sheakhala & its neighborhoods. Anandam is under the registered society of “Sheakhala Anandam Institution”. Registration no. is: S/1L/99864 (W.B. Society Act, 1961).

The session of our bengali medium begins on 2nd January and ends on 31st December same year. The english medium session begins on 1st April and ends on 31st March next year.
The institution observes three vacations every year namely a) Summer vacation, b) Autumn Recess , c) Winter vacation. Saturday and listed holidays are closed holidays.
Classes are held normally between 7:30 am to 11:30 am from April to end of the autumn recess and between 8:00 am to 12:00 noon from November to March every year.
